Can a machine be more tender?
Tender Machine makes playful digital experiences for human connection. Its first piece, The Digital Post Office, turns messages from a group into gifts to unwrap.
Playful digital pieces, made for people
Tender Machine is a collection of digital experiences exploring human connection, memories and the small rituals that make us feel cared for. It is made and run by Kora Labs Group LLC.
The name asks a question: can a machine be more tender? The work explores that question through things people can actually use, give and play with.
The first piece: The Digital Post Office
The Digital Post Office by Tender Machine is a digital group gift. Friends, family or colleagues tuck notes, voice recordings and photos inside interactive objects. The recipient opens the gifts one by one.
The product is available on tender-machine.com. It is a browser experience; the gifts are digital, not physical postal deliveries. Each paid pile is a one-time purchase, with a free written-note option available.
